Runduo (Melody) Ma is a software developer and pianist currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in both fields at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has demonstrated exceptional academic performance with a GPA of 3.90/4.00 and an extensive range of coursework, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Algorithm, Operating System, Compiler, Mobile Application Development, User Interfaces, Computer Graphics, Big Data System, and Network System

Runduo (Melody) Ma has also established herself as an accomplished pianist, having studied the instrument since the age of 10. She currently studies under the guidance of Professor Jessica Johnson at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Projects

Ma's skills extend beyond her academic and professional experience, and she has an impressive portfolio of projects, including a real-time social web app developed at TreeHacks called WaveWait, where she served as the product manager, worked on backend using Google Cloud, and created UI designs using Figma. She also developed SnapSort, a mobile app that uses Google Vision API to classify trash and track the user's carbon footprint. Furthermore, she participated in the Stanford Summer Program, where she integrated a motion planner in Python with real-time control for a robot to search the environment and automate map construction in real-time.

Research

Ma has worked as a research assistant at the Banks Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she analyzed brain fMRI data using Python's embedding diffusion map. Unfortunately, she was very confused with the brain data so sadly quitted the lab

Kittens

Ma has two kittens (jomi & jomi), a 4-year-old boy(man) and a 7-month-old girl. They both enjoy sitting on the keyboard while Ma is working.
